Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel hidden in a medieval walled town. The rooms, although located in the medieval cellar, were much larger and cleaner than expected, offering a unique atmosphere. While the décor leaned towards a simpler style, the comfort of the bed made up for it. The smell of fried food upon arrival was a downside, but overall, it was a cozy stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were perfect - very comfy, quiet, warm, and clean, facing the quiet courtyard; however, the location was a bit bleak with a broken road in the inner yard. The service was exceptional with friendly and helpful staff but lacked in facilities.
The hotel room I stayed in was nice and clean with tea/coffee facilities and air conditioning, but it was located in the inner yard outside the main building, on a broken road cover that almost destroyed my luggage wheels. While the room was small and stuffy, it was not very good value for the money.
The hotel is perfectly located just off the main square in Tallin Old Town, surrounded by top-notch restaurants. The rooms are luxurious with a sauna room, but there is no heating except for a small plug-in heater. The service is professional and kind, offering a variety of amenities like housekeeping and welcome drinks. Dining in the exquisite cellar area is a delight with cooked-to-order options, though a proper kettle for tea would enhance the experience.
The hotel's rooms with very big bathrooms off an outdoor courtyard, though tiny, were nicely appointed with everything you would expect. The staff were some of the kindest people I've ever met and super efficient and helpful, making our stay a delight. The location was perfect, right in the old town center, but could get noisy on weekends. The dining experience was okay, not offering a wide variety or many healthy options, but the home-baked Alentejo bread was a highlight.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were not only spacious but incredibly comfortable, making me feel right at home. However, it was a bit confusing for a first-timer like me to find some services. The open-plan layout with a roll-top bath was magnificent, and there was plenty of room to relax.
